What do all of these building have in common, besides all being in Europe? They all joined in the "five minutes' break for the planet" event. Many homes across Europe also joined in. The event was to take place for five minutes today, between 18:55 and 1900 GMT.
The action was set to coincide with the release of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change after a four-day debate. The report was covered here today.

Billions of Ants burning trillions of tons of fossil fuels over a mere 200 years does make a difference.

Regardless of whether Global Warming is Science or Science Fiction, the world economy is being held hostage by a bunch of lunatic religious fanatics who believe they would each be given 72 virgins in the afterlife for dying while trying to kill anyone who doesn’t believe as they do. Unfortunately, not everyone believes that Allah (God) is love!!!
Every nation NEEDS energy independence & security NOW!

Anyone understand the plot of StarTrek 7.
What if the 'tri-lithium' worked to increase the fusion reaction in stars?
Say a 100% increase in output, what would happen to the planets in the solar system?
What if they didn't use enough (and worked as advertised as a nuclear inhibitior) and the output only dropped 50%, it would get cold pretty quickly.
