Video of the Tesla Roadster testing on ice!
Tesla has posted some videos on YouTube of the Roadster undergoing cold weather testing up in northern Sweden. There's nothing quite like blasting around a frozen lake in the middle of winter in a high powered sports car. There are two more video's after the jump

Here's another video
And finally a split-mu ABS stop!

It looks like Gavin Kershaw was having fun out there on the ice in the second video.

Too bad the extreme cold reduces battery efficiency. They probably ran out of juice going once around the track. In fact I think I saw an extension cord trailing behind it. *puts on super detecto conspiracy x-ray glasses*

Driving the Tesla on ice must be tricky, since there is a lot of instatnt low end torque.
By the way, for those who are skeptical whether it is really an electric Tesla because of the noise, where are the hot exhaust fumes ????
All combustion engines would have visible hot fumes in the cold winter air. No such fumes can be seen in these videos.

I would like to remind a lot of people about another company all gold and glitters. The name of this company was BRE-X. Hopefully my comment will be posted and hopefully this company will not end up being another BRE-X. For some reason, it smells like BRE-X
