1. "I can't just go out right this minute and spend $20,000 on a new Prius"
Oh, really? And exactly where can you get a Prius for only $20k? List is around $23k (base price), and the local dealers in the north Dallas area are charging a $4000 premium over list -- *and* requiring several add-on packages. Delivered price on a Prius is more like $30k with TT&L.
