Winding Road examines hydrogen as a fuel

In the February 2007 issue of the online car magazine Winding Road, there is a fairly in-depth article on hydrogen. It looks at the history of hydrogen as a fuel, first in internal combustion applications, and later in fuel cells. The idea of using hydrogen as a range extender isn't new and was examined extensively in the '70s as a means of reducing gasoline combustion. Writer Karl Ludvigsen also looks at the first fuel cell powered motor vehicle, the 1966 GM Electrovan. You can subscribe to Winding Road free of charge, and download the full issue as a pdf or read individual articles online.
