The smart fortwo is now a bit more passionate. The smart fortwo Brabus edition red debuted at the Paris Motor Show last month and these snazzy city hoppers are now available from smart dealers. The coupé costs £13,865 and the cabrio is priced at £15,610. The edition red also marks the end of the current model, with the new version coming in spring 2007.
The smart Brabus edition red dispenses with all of the ecological benefits of, say, the smart ev in favor of a 74 bhp Brabus-tuned petrol engine and a lot of external and internal style upgrades. These include exclusive 'intense red' body panels and has a matching 'intense red' tridion, front spoiler, side skirt and door mirrors and 16" Brabus Monoblock VI alloy wheels. This is not the first smart to get the Brabus touch as the smart Brabus was released earlier this year.
