Automotive X Prize website goes live

The XPrize Foundation, mostly known for the $10,000,000 Ansari X Prize designed to jumpstart the personal spaceflight industry, announced a while back the Automotive X Prize with a goal of creating new fuel efficient vehicles. The website for this new Automotive X Prize went live a few days ago, with a little more background information on what this new X Prize plans to achieve. While the Ansari X Prize was very much technology driven, the Automotive X Prize will be focused more on entrepreneurial innovation in order to stimulate automotive technology, manufacturing and marketing breakthroughs to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. While the specific rules for the competition are still under development, you can take action now by becoming a donor, sponsor or volunteer. The site is accompanied by a blog, with contributions from the Automotive X Prize team.

Extraordinarilly exciting concepts for the future existence of this world, alternative fuel sources; with less dependence on imported fuel9s) from countries outside the US.

My daughter has a 60 page physics formula that has been proofed ,by an engineer, with a PhD. in physics. Her formula would permit one to drive from the east coast to the west coast without using or stopping for gasoline, hydrogen or other alternative fuel sources. So this shall be her contribution to the US dependency upon oil importation from other countries. This will also
ursup our government's "play on war", which is in actuality a "war for oil"; because we know the price of oil fills the pockets of our government officials and CEO's of our petro companies. This is a war not for our belief system(s); but a war of profit for those with deep pockets, but will not benefit middle and lower socioeconomic americans. As an American, I am saddened by the war and the death(s) of our brave servicemen and women as well as the untold deaths of civilian populations. May God Bless America, our soldiers and their families. For those with deep pockets who personally gain from the "Oil War' what will happen to your grandchildren etc in decades/centuries to come when the global environment cannot sustain life and shall be uninhabital???
